The future is smart: AI and chatbots
According to Gartner, Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be the most disruptive technology during the next decade. AI has the potential to revolutionise a number of industries including the not-for-profit sector. Aside from improving the productivity of a charity’s digital presence by reducing the need for human interaction, it can significantly improve charitable giving.
In fact, AI could even have an impact on the public’s well-being. But… where do you start? In November, FARM and Microsoft will showcase how to use Azure Cognitive Services and be joined by charity professionals to discuss their experiences with AI.

Overherd takes hold of the challenges and issues that charities face and tackles them head on.
Our mission is to see more charities exploit the potential of digital technology to develop tools and services which extend the reach and impact of their work, and ultimately help more people.
By confronting these challenges in a format of speaker and open forum our aim is for you to come away from this event with a fresh set of ideas on how to implement positive changes into your marketing strategy.
The focus for October's Overherd was 'breaking digital barriers in charity' and we sourced some great speakers from The National Autistic Society, Teenage Cancer Trust and Media Trust to share their experiences.
