The pouch we chose to use is a 100% recyclable LDPE pouch. We chose this material because, while compostable pouches sound great, they can actually cause more harm than good if not properly disposed off using a compost heap. 

Please check your local council recycling of LDPE, some councils offer kerbside recycling, if this is the case, you can simply place in your collection bin with other recyclable plastics.

If your council doesn't recycle LDPE, then you can take empty pouches to collection points which can be found at most supermarkets. The Recycle Now website can help you find a collection point, simply insert your postcode to find your nearest. 

Please make sure the pouch is clean, with no powder left inside.

We intend to offer a compostable pouch option in the future, so those with compost heaps can purchase this variant.
